Roger is grandson of abstract expressionist giant Clyfford Still, he was exposed to the world of art and music at a young age. Raised in San Francisco, living at Haight & Ashbury while enrolled in high school. Outside his bedroom window, the nights were filled with the desperate sounds of punk-rock runaways, street musicians and homeless drunks. Staying up all night playing guitar and listening to records, it was a time of inspiration and dreams.

Roger is perhaps best known as the guitarist for the group 4 Non Blondes, who had a major worldwide hit with “What’s Up?”. He has shared the stage with Prince, Aerosmith, Pearl Jam, Neil Young and has been a featured guest of the Violent Femmes.
