A Native San Franciscan, I have lived all my life in the Bay Area, in pretty much all parts at various times - grew up on the Peninsula, lived in SF itself for about 15 years, the North Bay for a similar length of time, and I'm now happily residing in Berkeley, where I feel like I belong. I grew up singing, both parents did church choir, and so, of course, did I. Studied Classical Voice at Cal-State Hayward (East Bay whatever...) for a couple years, graduated from SF State. Played guitar, bass, keyboards, and mandolin, as well as sang, in several bands (and I still do...). I have an abiding addiction to playing and making music with others, especially singing harmonies (I'm a 1st tenor, and yes, I read music...). As good as sex gets, singing harmony with others is (at least in my experience) better still, love it love it love it!
