About Robertpaulperez

I am a songwriter; I don’t fancy myself as a musician or even a vocalist. I do however play guitar and sing as a means to tell the stories and songs that I write. My biggest dream is not to be on stage in front of thousands, rather it is being in the audience listening to an artist play one of my songs (in front of thousands). I love music of many styles and I really enjoy the independent artist that show up at the open mics. The music is full of flavor and energy. The music is often stylistic, unpolished and original, which adds to the character of the music scene as well as the community as a whole. I am just honored and humbled to be a small part in adding to the richness and diversity of the art of music.

I would like to thank the "Freight and Salvage" and the many supporters and patrons of venues such as this for their continuing support of independent and original music and of the home grown artist that truly enrich the local community
