The filming of this show was inspired by Girl George, the co-host (along with Joan Pez) of the Starry Plough Tuesday Open Mic. We had filmed at the Plough previously but George didn't have enough notice to get her regulars there. This time the house was packed (as you can tell from all the drunken talking during some of the songs)!! I didn't get to film Joan because the night before she had been in a major, near fatal, auto accident. In fact, this was the second time I had announced my plans to film Joan at the Plough and had come away empty. The previous time her car was stolen on the day of the show!!!
